Pearl! If not DIY-ing, what have you been up to?

Well, I guess I can't say that I haven't been DIYing...I just haven't tried many new things.

This is just going to be a post of me showing off the things I've been making lately, since it's not like I make REAL blog posts anymore x).

Tutorial here!

I've been making quite a few lollipop necklaces lately.

It's because when the clay goes on sale, my lack of control takes over, and I end up with a million packs of clay that I just can't wait to use.

These make fantastic gifts, and I recently decided that I need to stock up on "emergency gifts," so I made lots :).

Bows! Lots and lots of bows.
I don't wear them, but they look so pretty that I can't help but make them x)

More clay things~
I gave them to my teachers last week ^^

Lastly, pins.
Unlike most of the things that I make, I actually wear these ^^.

They're great for those times when I'm wearing a boring outfit and want to make it a little more special.

So....yeah.

The main reason I haven't been posting anything substantive is that school devours any and all of my free time. As you can tell by the photos above (ughhh....nighttime indoor lighting >=/), the only real time I have to myself is late at night.

Problem is, I HATE the way my photos turn out when taken at night (the ones for this post are literally making me cringe, lol), and I just end up skipping weeks of posting.

Those are just some of my excuses.

Oh well, until next time my dears ^^~

    1. Oh thanks! I've been transitioning out of wearing hair bows lately, so they're not really my style anymore ><

Things like that are so easy to make that I shouldn't take someone's money for them :)

  5. OMG, cuteness overload! I love all the bows and necklaces! I totally understand, school is sometimes incredibly time consuming. I don't even remember when was the last time I was able to go with the 8/8/8 ration of day division >.<.

  7. Waa~ so cute! lol, you're so skilled and talented I would never be able to make those! D: haha, I love them so much and can't stop staring at them!
lol, my new years resolution: read all your DIY tutorials and hope that I can at least try and make one of them! T_T I'm asking for the impossible, but I'll definitely try my hardest and then take a picture of it (if I succeed) and post it on my blog! :) Thanks again for inspiring me, I really love your work!

    1. Nonononono! I'll bet that they're much easier than you think. For example, I made the clay things while babysitting a 7 year old, and our results were pretty much identical x)
I'm so flattered! I can't wait to see your work ^^

  8. ^^ Well you had definitely made a ton of lovely creations during your "off day" that's for sure! I was actually considering doing that as well, but unfortunately none of my friends are into frilly and girly things as I am, so most of the time I have to do some actual shopping.

On the other hand, I totally agree with you with taking pictures during the evening. I feel that natural lighting is not only more natural, but also much better for taking pictures in.

Well I mean...my friends aren't really into that kind of stuff either, so I usually have to do some shopping as well T_T.

  10. You should really sell these! :D They're super gorgeous.
Don't feel bad about selling something someone else COULD make, often it's about the scale of having to acquire all that craft stuff, that most people would much rather buy just one! That's how I am a lot, I've hoarded too many craft supplies, so I'm just trying to make and sell only what I'm good at, and buy the stuff that other people are good at! :)

Your blog is wonderful and inspiring, even when it's just showing off stuff you made! Keep it up! <3

    1. You know what? I've really been considering it lately ><
I might set up an etsy store when I start uni so that I have some pocket money to spend ^^~

I can totally sympathize. It's so hard to control craft supply purchases T_T

Thanks so much Bunnie! I'm happy to hear that my blog is inspiring to someone :D
