Lately I've been infatuated with lip colors. As a result, I find myself with three shades of the new Maybelline Color Whisper lipsticks.
I own these shades:
- "Pin Up Peach" (30)
- "Coral Ambition" (35)
- "Orange Attitude" (40

I'm kind of new to playing around with lipsticks, and these really surprised me. They feel more like tinted lip balms than lipsticks, but with more color payoff. Rather than go into extreme detail, I'll just list some pros and cons of the product. I never read full reviews; I just look at the swatches x).
Pros:
- Goes on smoothly and evenly
- Can be applied without a mirror
- Stains the lips and lasts all day
- Cute packaging! ><
- Inexpensive (I only paid about $6 each)
- 20 different colors to choose from
- moisturizing
Cons:
- Color can be a little intense for my liking
My rating: 5/5
(I didn't take off for the color intensity because most people like vibrant lipsticks.)

Mushroom, spinach, onion, and garlic pizza on a cauliflower crust.

DeleteWell the formula on this one is great! If you're looking for a glossy orange lipstick, this is a good choice. But in my experience, most people are looking for matte orange lip colors. If this is the case for you, I don't recommend it because it's quite glossy =\.

ReplyDeleteHm, I dunno, I have a similar thing by Maybelline - back then they were like see-through jelly looking tinted lip balms, and while it was useful when I wanted to wear red lipstick without looking over made up, the other colors went on kinda weird and didn't stay at all... This looks really cute, but I'm afraid they wouldn't work for me again T___T. TBH, I'm not sure if they even are available here, haven't seen them yet I think. Anyway thank you for the review, I'll keep my eyes open and at least look if they're sold around here :)
Are you talking about Maybelline Baby Lips? If you're talking about the color "Cherry Me," I have that as well :)
DeleteThese lipsticks are much more opaque than the Baby Lips lip balms. There are 20 colors to choose from as well! Certainly you'll be able to find something to your liking ;)
And if you really want to make the pizza, I'll mention a few things. I doubled her crust recipe and ended up with a size large enough for my entire family since the comments on her recipe warned that it was small. On top, I just used the cheapest can of pizza sauce that I could find in the store and about 1cup of part skim mozzarella. I also used half a bag of fresh spinach and a few fresh mushrooms. Before I topped the pizza with the spinach and mushrooms, I wilted them together in the microwave for about 3 minutes.
I just made it sound kind of complicated, but it's really not T_T.
I think they look awesome! Ohh I wish I had them haha. :P

I literally just saw a commercial about these around 2 hours ago. All I thought was "Oh My GLOB! They're soo PRETTY!" I have an addiction to buying things I find pretty, especially when it's makeup. It just makes the product better and I've been looking for an orange lipstick so I'll have to check these out!
ReplyDeleteLastly, that pizza looks amazing. I love mushrooms and spinach and I've been hearing a lot about making cauliflower crust. I'll definitely have to get the ingredients to try this, but I'll make a small one, because I know my family will want to taste, but probably won't like it. Well, atleast everyone but my mum.
I don't watch tv, but they totally caught my attention in the store :). I totally understand! Buying makeup becomes an addiction T_T
